I have already checked my tcpip.sys version and applied correct patch (the version is 16567), but it didn't do any good. After patching it told that "... dependency failed to start..." and all network connections were unavailable. I can give it a one more try but I doubt it works. Quite sure I did everything correctly last time already. Any other suggestions unless I screwed up something last time and it works now?
Before patch application it is necessary to disable UAC and to start a patch on behalf of the adminstrator, if all is correct should work. It is checked up on several computers with different versions.
I had done that from the start. I tried it again using your install .bat and I also tried manually changing everything. No luck, the internet would not connect. I received the same "dependency" error as Jent. I'm using Windows Home Premium x64 and had the same file version of .16567
How do I verify that this actually working? I installed the .reg files, run the run.bat, rebooted but I do not see the Crack Tcpip.sys appearing in the services list. I'm using the v744 on 6001.18000. Am I missing something? Do I still need to disable the auto-tuning?
Hello, MS forced an update of the TCPIP.sys on my 32bit home premium yesterday. The new version is 16627. Does anyone know if the patch here works for this version?
Just to double check I ran cmd.exe as administrator and typed net start CrackTcpip. It told me that the service was already running. I also increased my utorrent half open connections to 50 and I manged to get that, so it must be working. I also haven't had an 4226 event since then either.
Help Please: I have installed Vista SP1 64 bits. The tcpip version is 6.0.6001.18000 I need one patch or Crack for tcpip conections. Please help me!!!!
Seriously. When is x64 going to be done!? The cracktcpip.sys people said it was because people had to disable the driver signature enforcement, but who the hell doesn't do that? It's downright stupid using Vista 64 and not disabling that since you can't use any non-WHQL drivers.
probably because microsoft fixed it where nobody knows how to disable driver signing from within vista x64 other than pressing F8 during boot
Well sure, it's a 32-bit driver ... we need a 64-BIT version, I don't care if it's unsigned I hit F8 at every boot anyways to get other drivers to load! Can't even use CoreTemp without F8.
