Hello, I'm having an issue with this new pc I bought 9 days ago: HP Pavilion 500-046 PC. specs: 1) amd a10-5700 apu with radeon(tm) hd graphics 3.40 ghz. 2) 8.00GB RAM 3) Windows 7 (64 bit) Ultimate* (haven't validate it yet) 4) 2TB Hard Drive. 5) AMD Radeon HD 7660D Graphics I still have this problem from my last post entitled: Windows Loader doesn't work, help. (by me, Raigah, I can't post link's thread because I'm new here, but basically the thread was about some problems with pc's partition that was not active and I couldn't validate my windows 7 ultimate version) But I don't think that last problem matters because before changing to Windows 7 ultimate, I was using windows 8 (legit and validated) and crashing problems were the same as now. I've installed World of Warcraft and League of Legends in both versions: Windows 8 and windows 7 ultimate. Crashing problems were the same and PC gave me this message: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: BlueScreen OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1 Locale ID: 1033 Additional information about the problem: BCCode: a0000001 BCP1: 0000000000000005 BCP2: 0000000000000000 BCP3: 0000000000000000 BCP4: 0000000000000000 OS Version: 6_1_7601 Service Pack: 1_0 Product: 256_1 Files that help describe the problem: C:\Windows\Minidump\032714-24024-01.dmp C:\Users\Raigah\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-97906-0.sysdata.xml I hope this is enough information for somebody to let me know what is happening to my computer, because I have 14 days warranty with store and I want to be sure it's not a manufacturing defect what is giving me this crashing Errors. If any other relevant info. is needed just ask. I'll be very thankful for any help I get.
If you are nine days into a fourteen day warranty, I suggest not spending any more time on it. You deserve a working computer - exchange it now. And the fact that different OS's both have problems make me feel this is a hardware issue.
make sure to disable onboard graphics in the bios and install amd's latest drivers for the 7660 graphics card
all it has is onboard graphics and there is no graphics card. can't help with your problem though, sorry. the crash info you posted is not enough to determine any kind of source. if you were crashing in windows 8 fresh out of the box brand new then i'd also suggest returning it for an exchange or refund.. shouldn't be crashing until after you do something..... unless you installed some other hardware/software that was not compatible that you didn't mention..
Check the BIOS update for your device, get the latest drivers. for AMD, tried to install the latest drivers, without Catalist Control Center. Catalist Control Center reported problems with MetroUI some time ago. hope this help.
