I now repacked them @ 100 MB size ready for mediafire, is that ok with ya'll? Edit: Began uploading 12 x 100 MB files, ETA approx 2 Hours Edit: Approx an hour left...
Thank you very much. i really appreciate it. For info: it seems as if multiple file downloads from SkyDrive is not available is certain countries. Not sure why. I live in South Africa and it's not available here.
I've read through the guide for method 2 over and over and i can't understand exactly what to do. I have all the iso's and BIOS files. I have all the addons and driverpacks. I want to create one DVD with XP Pro, MCE, 64bit and XP Home all in one with driverpacks integrated . The guide is not clear how to do it. Method 1seems easy but does not have the drivers. Method 2 does not have any info on what to do with all the ISO's. Should I unpack them into separate directories or not? Must I integrate the drivers using RyanVM Integrator or BTS base? If someone could clear that up for me, I would really appreciate it.
Coincidently, I was already busy trying to figure out XP Powerpacker. I still need to work out when to use the RVM Integrator and when to use Powerpacker. Also, i'm still unsure when to integrate the BTS Driverpacks: before or after the previous two utilities I mentioned. If I get it all figured out, i'll post a guide...
Always driverpacks as last thing I also think you should ask at signet forum for better help. But creating an XP AIO would be very very handy for some people. Yet i dont understand why people want home edition or MCE, only with mediacenter but its still xp and far better apps are out there
Its a novelty thing.. MCE works without much effort. Some of the third party apps are better, but take quite a bit of tuning..
Using XP PowerPacker to make a AIO XP DVD: Use a ISO program like UltraISO, PowerISO etc to extract ALL the files from you untouched XP ISO's into separately named folders eg. XP_PRO_OEM and XP_HOM_OEM. Open XP Powerpacker and one of these folders eg. XP_PRO_OEM as source/input. Create a empty folder eg. XP_AIO and then select this folder in Powerpacker as output. Regardless of the version and edition of XP that PowerPacker auto selects, manually click on the appropriate version/edition. If you don't do this it will give you that annoying "check you version" error. The click on "Pack these files..." and wait for it to finish. Then select XP_HOM_OEM as source/input and XP_AIO as output. Manually select editions again and click "Pack these files...". Then click "package ISO". Burn the new ISO with Nero or similar. I'll post more info with regards to driverpacks and OEM BIOS files as soon as I figure it out.
Thanks for the info!! I might start workin on this as well. Regarding the OEM BIOS files / OEMSLP activation, you need the OEM:SLP keys for all editions in the file "whatever its called"
So the question is: Updates: Do we have to process every xp edition before/after making an AIO? (i think before if we have to) Driver(s)/packs: This shoudnt have to be processed for every version since its read from the winnt.sif file, right? Edit: Option to add drivers in XPowerpacker is there OEMSLP: Same as above, just need OEM:SLP keys for every edition right? Edit: What is the "Extra files" used for?
From what I understand: Updates must be integrated per OS. Drivers on the otherhand is a complete mystery for me. Powerpacker has a driver integration function as well as Driverpack Base. Also, driverpack base has a setting for multi-boot dvd's. The powerpacker has function that can up Ryan VM integrator. So, with all of that, I can't confirm what goes where without doing lots and lots of testing. I still have not found a place that has all the info in one place that can enable me to make this aio dvd with OEM BIOS files, multiple XP Editions and drivers. Each guide only covers certain aspects. I'm going to mess around tonight and see what happens...
