How to create EI.cfg file so that i can select which edition to install from Win8AIO?

 

Create a text file with this inside:

Code:

[Channel]
Retail

[VL]
0

and rename it ei.cfg

 

you need to install the winpe 4 as stated on page one, as the extract will not work 100% without this.

 

On page one says only to install "deployment tools" !!!

I haven't been following the forum for a while but with an integrated WMC we can just install and activate with a free WMC key, right?

I don't have a backup since this is to install on a new machine. So, if I can only activate if I have the restore files, right? Guess I'll stick with KMS.

If I create an 8 Pro with WMC and the WMC key integrated, will that disc be good for ONLY the machine I first install to or can I install numerous computers with that same disc and be activate?

1. No this wont work even on the first computer also, this method is dead,unless you prefer phone activation.

2. You can not use the same key on several machine, so if you integrate, it is bound to the first machine used, and should be activated by phone.

 

By phone activation do you mean giving them the WMC key over the phone will activate both 8 Pro and WMC or will it just activate WMC which means KMS is the only way to activate 8?

 

The link on the first page for The Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK) doesn't work.

 

I created an AIO and made a windows 8 with media center. Than, I installed it, but couldn´t activate.
Exists another way to activate Windows 8 WMC ?
