I guess SoLoR missed this line...
The GRLDR has my pointers and custom menu.lst in place which would cause a whole load of the options to fail to work ;)

Can't they just include a blank file named win7.ld (it doesn't really need data inside does it ?)

Or they need to edit out both the reference to win7.ld and the menu.lst embedded entry. Very easy for some.

Yes they could, infact it's best if they was to do that as it would solve booting issues for some users setups. It would make this activation kit more flexible for others with the more custom setups :)

I have actually changed the name to winx.ld now since my tool doesn't need to put data into the files anymore (due to the profile matchups feature I introduced a while ago).

Does that work on Acronis Os Selector. It has a similar hiding partition scheme like PQBoot, but I haven't gotten around to testing, ever hear back anything on that ?

I'm not sure software wise, but I think through all the pages of my thread 2 or 3 people using different software have had success due to the pointer.
Since it fixed that I included it in every build since. I mean it causes no harm being there and activates more people so it's all good.

    Updated Version

Updated the version on the first page to Pre-activation kit v2.6..includes a new script to install from USB drive....Be careful while using the script as if you select a wrong drive or partition it will overwrite all the data in that drive

Super, very commendable that you also remember this and write a script for USB. Thank you!

I wasnt sure if the keys had a limited number of activations.

and that was terminal server aka Remote Desktop it is crippled in Home Premium, Im working on getting working. the only feature that people keep asking for is sending sound to the local PC I have made progress but it would
be nice to install the package for Ultimate on Home Premium to see it I will
    have to hack some DLL's

im not sure as well, since i didnt try to install those 2 SKUs yet, its more like to have it ready once OEM:NONSLP keys leak :) about remote desktop, im sure its split in to packages, however i have no idea what they are and i doubt they are different anyway, its probably just some registry checks to enable certain features depended on SKU.

    Hi...

Little help needed please...firstly ...Thanks to everyone involved for their work on this.

I would like to make a x86 of windows 7 pre-activated...but would also like there to be a prompt for which version....Is this possible...

Can step 2+3 be ignored...does the batch file still pre-activate then?...if not..

Step 3 of the guide is unclear to me as it states

    3. 3.If you want to install the product key via a script then place the contents of the folder "oem_folder_key" i.e, key.vbs and SetupComplete.cmd in $OEM$\$$\SETUP\SCRIPTS...the scripts will ignore the commands to intragrate the keys into install.wim...This should be used in conjunction with a custom ei.cfg to avoid OOBE asking for a key, but will make a single edition install dvd.pre-made ei.cfg's can be found in the ei.cfgs directory pick one and rename it to ei.cfg and place it in the pre-activation_kit directory. it will then be copied to the DVD.

Also could you please confrim , it says if you wish to install product key via script....?...is there another way ...or do I have to follow step 3...but then will this only give me one edition...ie ultimate or pro..?

One final issue, if I want to make a single version ie pro...on the guide it says

file name and SHA1 for 32 bit Windows 7 must be:
    file name: 7600.16385.090713-1255_x86fre_client_en-us_Retail_Ultimate-GRMCULFRER_EN_DVD.iso
    SHA1: 5395dc4b38f7bdb1e005ff414deedfdb16dbf610

So do I have to rename the pro iso to the above ifso where and how do I change the sha1 info...?

Sorry for the noob questions ...

    Thanks for any help.

Now that the Samsung keys and certificate are available, could you add Samsung to this package?
    Thank you.
