I think the script should work just fine....but you can also use the earlier pre-activated dvd that you made...
nononsense will the preactivated dvd work in upgrade? or does it have to be a clean install all the time?
Updated Version to 2.7.0 The Pre-activation kit for Windows 7 has been updated to v2.7.0 and has been posted on the first page of this thread.. Version 2.7.0 *Added language pack integration *Added integrate drivers to boot.wim for storage controllers *Changed directory layout so its not so messy *Changed sha1 sum check to case insensitive *Added sushil1576's changes, new certificates *And a few themes for the added OEM's *Fixed "flags 9" problem when running setup from Windows
Ok just did a test, and the upgrade worked fine final result is the OS was activated. Upgrade did take longer though.
nononsence thank you for this, but it still a bit messy for the end user.. IT will be much more better and user friendly if you make a program with GUI instead of those bat files.. also you can use "/Set-SKUIntlDefaults:fr-FR /Gen-LangINI /Set-SetupUILang" for setting the language options, it will create lang.ini.. for AIO it also possible to integrate the languages to each index (/Add-Package), so you don't need to use the update method.
I did start on a GUI but I had a HD die and will have to start over again the updates are installed with the /Add-package command that is why I have instructed to put the language packs in the updates folder the script generates the lang.ini as languages are added to boot.wim unfortunatly the commands you listed did not make the lang.ini the way I wanted. any language that is to be installed by setup by the langpacks folder on the root the DVD needs a fr-fr = 0 entry otherwise I got an error. it may work for AIO Ill have to play with it a little.
ei.cfg tells the pc what version of windows7 is in the dvd. so you dont need it if your making an all in one window7 dvd but if your making a specific version of windows7 32bit 64bit or both then you need it.
Does anyone knows how to install let's say 7-Zip x86 or x64 depending on the user selection of the x86 or x64 version during Windows 7 installation using an AIO DVD? EDIT: Nevermind... I found out:
