Hello everyone, I recently activated my copy of windows 8 wmc with these methods (sorry for the cutoff, I don't have enough posts) /threads/38661-Activating-Microsoft-Windows-8-Pro-with-media-center-for-free-with-legitimate-key!/page64?p=691229&viewfull=1#post691229 /threads/38661-Activating-Microsoft-Windows-8-Pro-with-media-center-for-free-with-legitimate-key!/page82?p=693477&viewfull=1#post693477 However, they don't seem to work anymore. After installing the key again after replacing the data.dat in the spp/store folder with a working one, Windows overwrites the new data.dat with a different one, resulting in the activation method failing. I think they just very recently fixed this method, because I installed a copy of w8wmc for my brother today using this method and 2 hours later the method failed on my laptop. Can anyone else confirm?
