TPB Top 100. Toilet_Sniffer's version and believe me, this wasn't the only issue I had with it. Not sure why its the top torrent.
All who cannot validate use Gigabyte SLIC -> Gigabyte Cert and Asus key All other options do not work for me either on my newer laptop.
Hello everyone. This is my first post, but I want share with you my experience with almost identical problem to @vipersilver had. At a begining... I spent 2 days trying to activate Windows 7 Ultimate for my mother She has ASUS A8N-SLI Premium mobo. At first I tried using: - WindSLIC_bootmgr_GUI-6-28-2011, - WindSLIC_NTFS_06-06-2010, - My Digital Activator. SLIC_ToolKit_V3.2 showed that everything is OK (SLIC Dump Status, SLIC Diagnosis, Pkey&Cert. Valid&Backup), but Windows was still in trial mode!! I tried a lot of brands in My Digital Activator (SLIC/Cert/Serials) without success... Then I found this forum topic and I tried Windows Loader v2.1.4 by Daz - but also without success.. I upgraded mobo BIOS to newest version (1303) from here: http ://support.asus .com/Download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=A8N-SLI+Premium&p=1&s=21 I again tried My Digital Activator, WinSLIC, WindowsLoader - but still without success... I read again carefully everything what @vipersilver wrote and there are steps which led me to success: 1. Uninstall Windows Loader v2.1.4 by Daz. 2. Reboot. 3. Unpatch WindSLIC_bootmgr_GUI-6-28-2011. 4. Uninstall WindSLIC_NTFS_06-06-2010. 5. Reboot. 6. 'Regenerate all activation system' with MBR Regenerator v4.5. 7. Reboot. 8. SLIC_ToolKit_V3.2 should show SLIC Dump Error and neither PKey nor Cert. 9. Run Windows Loader v2.1.4 with profile HP/HP/HP ... and SUCCESS!!! It was not my first Win7 activation but the hardest one so I want to share my experience - maybe it'll be useful for someone. Good Luck!!!
Having 3 activation methods running at the same time is bound to cause problems. This is the main problem with the Windows 7 Loader by Daz thread. People download an unknown torrent, probably with a built in activation method and then post that the Windows 7 loader doesn't work. We would've helped you if you posted in the Windows 7 loader thread but I'm pleased you've managed to sort it by yourself.
I'm about to install Windows 7 on a brand new PC, but I'm getting really confused. I'm planning to install the OS on a SSD, mobo is a Asus P8Z77 with UEFI. I read about loaders not working with UEFI boards and the workaround methods, but... disabling UEFI in Bios options (wich is possible with Asus P8Z77) could solve the problem as well?
