    Hey mustking...

I downloaded the modded BIOS here in the MDL bios request forum:

You can find it in /threads/7178-Dell-Phoenix-Manual-Mod-Thread?p=208686#post208686

Sorry if I tell you the link in this way, but I can't post links yet but if you're trying to mod your BIOS I'm sure you'll figure out how to use this link... :p

I modded my Inspiron 1525 about 6 months ago and it's working like a charm... Easy as stealing a child's candy...

    Good luck ;)

EDIT: I'm using version A17 available in the second post...

Hi Luca1985 can you please guide me through the steps to mod 1525 A17 bio. I did many times with different 1525 A17 Slic 2.1 version but it didn't work for me.
Please it would be great help for me....

Hi LatinMcg thank you for the link but i have also tried this link but after getting flashed setting didn't change..
    don't know if i m doing wrone.
I have created my pen drive windows 98 bootable and then updating from their.
But i have also learned from other links that .WPH would be needed to update the bios.
Do you have alternative or correct way to do it.
    Please......
    Again Thank you...:worthy:

Just download the 1525_A17_SLIC.EXE and rename it to 1525_A17.EXE and run it from your bootable pen drive.
