greetings. i was wondering if it is possible to mod a bios to remove or add features. here's the situation, i have a dell inspiron 1200 that keeps wanting to recalibrate the battery. the battery holds a charge for hours, but it keeps triggering the "battery calibration" upon boot. it seems to be a common problem with this model. is it posssible to remove that and mod the bios? i have the latest version installed. the battery does work holds a charge for 2 hours plus. for some reason it keeps wanting to recalibrate it. any thoughts? i've run the recalibrate numerous times but it won't go away.
