    You're nicer than I am.
    I always make them try to explain why they can't get the Info from DELL Support.
    That's because it usually a Stolen Laptop about 99.9% of the time with these password requests.

    I have a Dell E6510 with the bios admin password set:

    System number CCMQ3R1-1F5A

    This is not stolen, My employers made me redundant a month ago and said they would send a courier to collect the laptop. This has not happened so i thought I would like to unlock so that I can re-install OS and let my wife use it until it is collected.

    Any help appreciated. :biggrin:

    After buying a used motherboard (Dell d610) on auction site I found the system settings had a bios password set. I got a master password at bios-unlock.com they do many other brands.
