    hi i purchased a yard sale optiplex gx 280. service tag 966TL51- and the bios is locked.i hit f12 when booting and it doesnt give me a cd boot option. can anyone help. thanks don q

    sometimes the bios needs USB Legacy enabled to be able to use USB keyboard.. try PS/2 keybaord.. but i think it should work without all this due to gx280 being newer than gx260 that had that issue.
