I'm new here so is this the proper place to ask for help with a dell insperion 1720 bios? any help would be appreciated. here's the problem admin/bios pswd lock out i've been thru several dozen forums searching for info. i've gone as far as checking the mobo for a non volatile chip where this pswd is supposed to be with no luck however after reading thru this forum i tried the hold end button while plugging in ac adapter and was able to get the batt light to flash several times at the same time my usb lit up any suggestions on where to go from here? thanks oh yea 2008 with svc tag of 595b, intel centrino i'm not quite sure of bios(have not been able to get past pswd screen)
thanks thanks for such a fast response however i'm not quite familiar on how to run this. i read thru it and i can see how its probably going to work (which is pretty cool, i've always been curious to learn how to write code ect.) i'm at input# but i'm not getting the syntax quite right (i think that's the right word) i haven't had much formal training mostly self taught but that's part of the challenge. thanks again i'm trying to get this one going so my wife can have a computer for school.
