Dell Inspiron R15 SLIC Extraction possible ?

    Hello World

    I just buyed the Dell Inspiron r15 and it is shipped with Win7 Home Basic 64bit in the country where i live at the moment.

    Is it possible to extract the certificate from the original installation so to use it for a slic activation?

    I think/hope that the notebook has already Slic Bios so i have only to activate using the cert file.

    What do you think, does this Laptop has SLIC Bios already?

    I think YES. Check it by Slic Toolkit

    Notebooks that come with original OS have slic in its bios.You can can retrieve the certificate and serial number using slic dump tool kit to make a back up copy.

    Finally the notebook arrived yesterday. I used the toolkit to make a copy of the original files and after that i installed win7 ultimate 64bit and used the own certificate and the oem serial found in the win7 repository to activate.
    Everything is rolling fine. :)
