Assuming your service tag ends with 2A7B try this code,
    3DDD43J-2A7B = 0Y7h3puG9uoPeB0s

    The zeros are in red!

    Thanks, that worked.

Now I'm being told the HD is encrypted. This is an old corporate laptop (they let me take it when I left the company) and I'm trying to do a fresh install and wipe everything. I don't care about anything left on the HD. Is it possible to wipe the HD or do I need the encryption password for that? If I bypass the HD password screen. I can get to a boot menu and boot from a CD, but am having no luck getting further. The HD isn't even recognized as being attached. Is there a way to generate a password for the HD like for the master password?
