    Hi there,
I wonder if one of you experts could help me/us adjusting the thermal table that is built into the BIOS of the DELL Latitude E6400 laptop.

I want to raise the temps the starts the fan. The fan starts simply too early and never turns off, blowing cold air out of the system with no sense.

I've also heard, that there might be a "secret" key combination, when powering up a DELL laptop that would enable a service mode of the BIOS. But that can be a joke only, too.

Thanks and hope I'm not too off-topic here.

Just go thru DELLs site, they have service manuals for all products.
The info about the magic key combo if it exist, it will be there.
    Good luck!
