    Hey everyone,

I have recently purchased a Dell LTO4-EH1 (part #: 45E1037) tape and I'm having some problems finding the drivers for it.

I have it connected to a LSI SAS3081E-R HBA however the tape drive doesn't show up under device manager in Server 2K8 R2.

Does anyone know where to get this driver?

    Hi

does the sas-controller showing an error?
I have to use the iastor-Driver version 3.1 from 2012 - then its working.

But I have to say i´m using an lto6-drive...

However - try the old version.

No the drive doesn't show an error, however I have just noticed that the LTO drive doesn't show up when I boot into the LSI Configuration Utility... which probably explains why its not showing up in 2008 R2. :weep:

Use proper backup software. There is NO need for Windows drivers in that case, as it is the backup software that manages the drive
