You could be right. But it was reporting 2.0 for me (I didn't have any loaders installed). After I used a Loader it reported as 2.1 so I figured it didn't have SLIC 2.1.
hi, can you help me please, i have used the Dell Optiplex 745 mod that is posted in the Dell- Phoenix manual mod thread and i tried to use it but it is not working in my dell desktop. This is what i did: - I downloaded the zip file, extracted and used the modified bios file after changing the name of is as per the instructions in the txt file. - The updated bios is successful and showing the new version when booting. - Then i used the included dell file to install the slic table and it is also successful - then i update the serial code for windows 7 ultimate and it is successful the problem that windows 7 is not activated after all that and i have tried both bios versions 2.6.2 and 2.6.3. I have also tried to check the slic table using R&W and using Everest programs and both programs does not show any slic tables in the bios. Can someone please help me finding a working mod for Dell optiplex 745 with detailed instructions of how to use it. Thanks
