Here is the what is said in a hex editor: Complete SLIC 2.1 (Dell FX09 MSFT) in 01_1.ROM (x1) So, the RSDT and the slic match...how are you flashing the bios?
1) clean installed Windows XP, ran .exe to flash the BIOS, then installed clean Win7, SLIC Toolkit says no SLIC table found under XP, as well as, Win7. 2) boot to DOS and ran .exe to flash BIOS, then installed clean Win7, same result, no SLIC table found. Yes, the RSDT value did change, so the BIOS is being written, I suspect SLIC location is different for the Dells having the same problem. I noticed under the SLP1.0 tab in SLIC toolkit v3.2, "Invalid SLP OEM String Offsets: 122", if that makes any difference. Let me know if there's any other way of flashing it, besides simply running the .exe.
