    woodyth, the optiplex is unique in that there is more than just the bios and perhaps a keyboard rom in the file, I know there is also graphics, probably the boots screen, etc. It is the only such case I have found so far, as well as the only case where the hdr file does not checksum. I have tried several times to build flashers for it and will continue to look at it. Please be patient and do not bother attempting to follow the guide to do it yourself. If you do you will just lose the boot screen as the others already complained about. We will hopefully figure a way to flash that model properly, without losing the boot screen graphics

    people still using windows flash ? isnt it the cause of some bad flash ?

    I reinstalled W7 and got no genuine logo :(

    Thanks! Greatly appreciate your work.
    Got a bunch of Optiplex 755s with me and would love to run 7 on it.

    FYI: Optiplex 960 A04 BIOS already has the 2.1 marker built-in. 760 should be in the same boat.

    Yeah i would also be curious to know if someone has been able to get the m1530 to work under a windows installer. I only ask because i do not have a USB flash drive to do the dos version on.
