    this was the file name, Microsoft.Windows.7.Ultimate.7600.16385.RTM [Final release candidate] [X64 & X86].

    I know others who used it, and used the method from here and it worked for them. could it be the key i used is bad?

    oops! one more thing i forgot to mention in my previous post - after updating the bios, the cooling fans suddenly are maxing out at top speed and running 24/7!
    This is very annoying
    Please Help!
