Does anyone know if the Dell Optiplex 330 A7 (4/26/2010) bios support Slic 2.1?

No! Not Yet! I did however send both my bios chips to a re-flashing service, since I bricked both of them. I decided to take a different approach, I emailed an original .bin for Dell XPS630i and the modified one by Busykid508, and asked the proffesional to flash both just be on the safe side(obviosly one with original and one with modified). I'm supposed to receive them in a couple of days. We'll see the result, and I'll post it here! Meanwhile, since I don't have enough posts to communicate with slo or busykid508, I appreciate You checking up on me imatrix! Thank You.

    Hi guys,

Did a search from top to bottom but didn't find any answers.

    Can *.HDR bioses be modded?

I'm looking for a Dell Power Edge R610 modded bios...

I appreciate the hard work to insert the SLIC 2.1 into Dell-Phoenix bios, but I have a different request, if anyone can give me insight I would really appreciate it. Can I modify my Dell Phoenix Bios on my Dell-GX270 to accept a different processor. I don't mean something incompatable. I mean Dell put something in the BIOS to prevent chips from running faster than 2.8GHz. There is a compatable 3.4GHz chip but the BIOS slows it down to 2.8. If no one can help, do you know where I could find help for this type of BIOS modification. If it helps, the way Dell slows down the processor is to reduce the multiplier from the stock 17x to a reduced 14x.

I found a workaround that involved increasing the speed of the FSB, but it would be much better to fix this in the BIOS.

Thanks to anyone who can shed light on this situation.

thanks, sorry for the super late reply, still haven't had time to continue with this battery project and no longer belive that the bios will help a lithium ion battery with a self distructing charging circuit. after 300 chargers will not charge that battery anymore...
