Dell - Phoenix/EFI Manual Mod Thread

    I also have a dell xps 430. How ever the link to the modded bios doesnt seem to work. Does anyone have a link to this or can someone redo the bios and repost it again i would like to take this computer to win 7 64 bit.

    Model number is dell xps 430 again thanks in advance.

    So, you have flashed the slicked bios only from DOS folder (Var1, Var2, Var3) ?

    Try the Var 1-3 from Windows folder too : for Var1 run A05I9300.EXE, for Var2 run flash2.bat, for Var3 - BiosUpdate_A05I9300.exe (all as Administrator !!! )
    After the mod flashed successfully - reboot PC and check the Slic in bios with Slictoolkit, please.
    Please post results :)

    :eek: OK - so now results for Windows:
    Var1 - flashed correctly - no SLIC
    Var2 - flash has not executed - message: Inspiron 9300 BIOS Flash A05 - Invalid command line parameters
    Var3 - flashed correctly - no SLIC

    Can you provide RWE report for both Var1 and Var3 modified bios, please ?
