Thank you LatinMcG that was quick! I tried using afudos and it said it wan't for my bios so I used winflash to make the backup. I will try the dos route as I have read it is the best way to flash the bios. I have acouple more question before I try this ... Is there any comman switches I need to put? I have looked around and found something like awdflash bios.bin /PY /SN /CC /CD /CP /R Does that look correct? What do you mean about if it fails in winflash put the file in a usb as AMIBOOT.ROM to recover if it doesn't work. Which file do you mean? Do you mean if this bios mod doesn't work or if there is a glitch while doing the update?
When I do a search for awdflash I find Phoenix&AWARD AwdFlash BIOS 8.82 file AWDFL882.exe is that a good version to use?
