When I do a search for awdflash I find Phoenix&AWARD AwdFlash BIOS 8.82 file AWDFL882.exe is that a good version to use? Also what about my question about if I were to try and update through windows and it fails you said in winflash put the file in a usb as AMIBOOT.ROM to recover if it doesn't work. Which file do you mean? My second question about when you said ... if it fails.. put the file in usb as AMIBOOT.ROM to recover if it doesnt work. Do you mean if this bios mod (BIOSBKUP_SLIC.BIN) doesn't work or if there is a glitch with windows while doing the update?
