    i second or third that, got a Dell Lat* C640 as i said b4 would really like to get a mod on it , please and thank you with a cherry on top !

    This is pretty old equipment and may not be helpful anymore, but thought I would share.

    I got a Inspiron 530s (Foxcon G33M02) for free to tinker with, so I didn't have much to lose if it bricked. Others here have modded the BIOS, but it's old enough that all the links were dead. I couldn't extract the BIOS file from the exe and the board didn't have an OS to get temporary files from. I booted to FreeDOS via USB and ran the exe from there, which extracted the file. I left things running, removed the USB, modded the extracted file via Andy's tools on a different PC, used the same file name as the original and replaced the file on the USB. Plugged my USB back into the same port on the Dell, and let the flash continue. The flash was successful. Not exactly the smoothest operation but it worked.
