    I am trying to apply the SLIC mod to a Dell Optiplex 740 and also an Optiplex 330 using the info I found on here but it isn't working. Winflash says "BIOS file size doesn't match with MainBoard BIOS" for the 740. I downloaded the file that LatinMcG created. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have scoured this forum and can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Please help?

    Thanks Tito. I currently have xp home on my dell 131L laptop , and was wondering if I could put windows 7 on it? will the laptop support it after the bios mod ?

    After flashing the bios mod, you can easily activate 7 on that PC via OEM:SLP method.
