    Thanks nexus76. The modified BIOS works fine. I have to use DCCU to upgrade BIOS because biosflsh.exe says the file is incorrect format.:biggrin:

    Is there still a working link available for a Dell M1710 SLIC 2.1 BIOS mod? Of the two I found searching here, one is broken and the other yields an EXE that seems to run something in the background,and then reboot the computer with the original BIOS unchanged. The results file generated shows 'failed' and links to non existing bios files it appears to need to run properly.
