We have several Dell Latitude 10 Tablets. They come with Windows 8 and we activate them with KMS. Dell replaced the mobo on one and it will not activate with KMS. We have a couple hundred of these and all activate fine, even when recloned. I'm assuming the board they put in has an incorrect SLIC... maybe not meant to be activated with KMS? Can someone help me with this? We have the one that will not activate, but lots that are activated. Can I somehow get the good bios (or SLIC) from a working tablet over to the tablet that won't activate? The bios version is A05. I apologize if this is the wrong place to post this question.
Has anyone got the A14 2.1 version of the Precision m6300 BIOS? I am on A14, and I can't downgrade to the Dell version of A13, the modded A13 version, or upgrade to the 2.1 A14 mod version by using the A13 loader with the /readgzfile option because I get a Flash Version Compare error inside of the BIOS. I can re-write my A14 bios using /forceit. As I investigated, I found that the A14 version uses a different flash tool that looks to be more locked down. I have seen some M6300 A14 links, but all of them are dead. Does anyone have this one?
I got to run finally (after disabling my antivirus). It gave me a black screen for about 3 or 4 minutes like I usually get when I flash a BIOS, then the DELL logo. I Checked SLIC Toolkit after reboot though, and it is still saying I am on SLIC 2.0 "Status: Dump OK ! ( DELLM08_V2.0 )" any ideas?
DELL Microcode editing. Help help. DELL Precision T3400 BIOS that does not use 48 byte header in microcode. Trying to use a LGA771 Xeon E5430 SLANU in the LGA775 socket (sticker modded). Since the 10676h microcode already exists, I am stumped as to how to enable this processor. I have tried inserting various bytes from the Precision T7400 BIOS hoping to get it working. I fix CRCs in HxD and produce a working flash from .hdr with DCCU. The E5430 still won't boot. Any ideas?
