I added microcode to the BIOS (from de-soldered IC and I read Bios, then re-soldered IC) Unfortunately still motherboard does not support CPU (i7-3770T) I suppose there is some element of the bios which is still responsible for the operation of the processor.
Unfortunately, the addition of the microcode does not work. I tried also in the bios file to add (replace) files (responsible for handling the CPU), but it also did not help. I'm on your motherboard (de)soldered bios and so I read it and wrote. It seems that Dell service very carefully locked the processors, and the only company dell is known innch service processors. It was necessary to also know struture UEFI files (which files are responsible for what)
Was Wondering if the SLIC mod for insprion E1705 was still around it seems that the links no longer operate
when I click on XPS M2010 link on first page 3rd post for bios, it linked me to amazon link for memory.. is there any information in regards to this bios mod? if not, is there a way to make XPS M2010 bios mod happen? I recently put in T7600G to overclock it towards 2.8ghz but it throttles hard on chip/modular throttle, and I was told by unclewebb if it throttle its likely Bios/mobo limitation on current/voltage going into the CPU, and I wanna see if there is anything can be done in regards to this, basically CPU power management.
