Will modding my BIOS for SLIC 2.1 mess up anything on my laptop if I ever decide to go back to Win XP?

Sorry for probably a noob question.

    Thanks!

EDIT: Also does anyone know if the Dell Inspiron E1505 has SLIC 2.0? If you dont know, how can I find out?

    Thanks again.

Make a dos bootable usb stick, extract the contents of the zip file on it, boot from the usb stick, type Win7 at the command prompt, press enter key, press Y at the prompt to flash, cross your fingers and when it is all over, install and activate Win7
