    strange...
    try with a minimum configuration: remove everything from the server except of the following:
    CPU & Heatsink. System board, PSU, Front panel (to power system on), one memory DIMM, Kb
    Power down and take it to this configuration and then start it up.

    Hi, yes tried that configuration but its still the same, status leds 1, 3 & 4 on. Also the server comes on by just plugging in the power cable and it responds to the cover open switch by turning the rear fan on and off so not totally dead.
