    Hi

    Sorry for my poor english,

    I look for a Biosmod for the Dell D600
    the last Bios from dell for the Notebook is A16
    gives a way to mod this bios to install slic? or gives no chance to activate win7 on this laptop?

    BartMarley, not possible so far.
    We can modify slic marker, we cannot insert a new one at present time.
    D600A16 has no slic marker at all.

    Sorry, the bioses have no slic marker at all, cannot insert a new one.

    Try to mod but both software say not award bios or AMI bios.
    please kindly help, thank in advance.

    New to this forum - Hi everyone.

    Have been looking around for quite a while but cant seem to find any info about modding the Dell Mini 9.

    Is a modded bios for the Mini 9 possible ?

    i have dell studio 540 that came with A09 BIOS which it already has 2.1 SLIC this bios it's not on dell website yet. i was able to activate win7 with the leaked key and vista cert.
    if anyone intrested let me how i can dump it so it can be shared with everyone else.
    also this BIOS might be compatiable with some of the other models of the same serie.
