-When I search : "M08" case sensitive. "m08" is not relevant to "M08", don't replace "m08" in PIC 2. -the best way, run SLIC DUMP TOOL KIT, you see RSDT or XSDT, then 3 strings after RSDT or XSDT are replaced ( as in slic table ) -I search B9K as in tutor to replace it with M09, first B9K After RSDT , not see XSDT (correct in this case ). ( my case ) The second BK9, i saw it but the string is not relevant to RSDT/XSDT -Don't change BK9, run SLIC DUMP TOOLKIT is OK, then W7 is activated. -if W7 is not activated, change BK9. But After B9K, i see "ASL" string that is the same (DELL B9K ASL) after RSDT string. ( Dell[DELL-M09-ASL]2.1.BIN ) Code: P.DMAR0?AäOjä M09?cä€....ASL a/ Code: RSDT/J”*..DELL M09/ÅŒ.X€Ât€SL a....Î I decided to replace BK9 by M09. Correct ?
I don't know. You are saying things that I've never heard before (RSDT? XSDT? what's that?). Do you have something I can read about that (just to learn about it)?. Another question that comes to me is: What happens if the OEM ID is "longer" than the one I want to replace with. For example raplace "B10K" for "M09".
Why ? Hi i don't understand that " do assest PASS:12/31 or 12/34 " my Pc is not a N series " please help. thx
Can someone can check M1730 BIOS or make a new one ? Beacause Everest say me : Slic unknown version. Other tool say me Slic 2.1 but not Everest and the feature is normally OK in Everest... Thanks
