    Request for learning

    Just to learn how to do it by myself...
    Every time i launch :
    V1710A12.exe -writehdrfile ,
    it just decompress in windows\temp and launch winphlash.!!!

    Is there any way i can extract hdr and rom from this bios from dell (vostro-1710)

    That is because it is a Phoenix style bios, that means it needs to be modded as any standard phoenix bios, Takasuite has been doing most of those in this thread..

    @shakeyplace

    It might be worth putting a note by the Mini 9 entry on the first page that Mini 9 A05 is the same bios (apart from the splash screen) as A90 A04. ie that the eqivalent A90 revisions are one below the Mini 9s.

    I have a Dell Studio Desktop Slim 540s.
    I check my BIOS with RW-Everything and i have BIOS version 1.1.3 and it not have SLIC 2.1
    And when i check my motherboard with dxdiag it say nothing about my motherboard only this:

    BIOS: BIOS Date: 08/25/2009 12:43:46 Ver: 0.0.1

    Can someone help me please ?
    How do i know what kind of motherboard i have, or have someone a BIOS mod for my Dell Desktop Slim 540s with SLIC 2.1 ?
