    Eh no
    I have no pendrive atm,last time I loan it out
    Although I would like a quick guide for the dos procedure as I've never done it
    By dos I am assuming you mean to boot from usb and run from there

    Did it just fail the update, or did it mess up your machine?

    It just failed to update,no damage to bios

    i tried Dell Inspiron e1705 windows flasher for my bios it worked very well..
    then use dell lisence and dell oem key.
    Everthing is perfect.. "windows activated"
    There is no doubt to use this mod bios..

    thanks for this mod bios...

    well, I suggest you try updating the bios and checking your SLIC with something, say RWeverything because I have updated other models that had official bios updates from Dell and the new bioses did update the machine from SLIC 2.0 to 2.1 without any mod.. I suggest you try that first..
