Thank you. RWEverything shows SLIC table was unlocked on my R630. However RWEverything shows SLIC 2.4. I expected SLIC 2.5 since R630 supports Server 2019 and I use the latest 2.13.0 BIOS. Is there a solution to get BIOS for R630 with SLIC 2.5?
Hi Guys, does anyone know, how to reverse the process? I would need the SLIC 2.3 hidden again on my R320.
bios will not allow me to enter PASS:12/34" in the Asset Tag field. the field is there but can't enter nothing. Got it. Was able to enter the PASS:12/34. Hidden SLIC is only 2.1
This worked great on T300 & T710. Made it possible to SLIC 2.6 & Activate Server 2022. It also removes Service Tag which is a nice feature. Thanks for post
@VladimirZ For slic 2.6 in a dell server you need x40 or x50 or x60 series. x40 series with win2019 got bios upgrade slic 2.6 but no more update i think x50 + x60 will get slic 2.7 (if that's the name next time )
To unhide the SLIC table on PE T610 w 6.6.0 stock BIOS and Dell Lifecycle Controller 1.7.5.4 I had to press F10 System Services, Hardware Configuration, HII Advanced Configuration, System BIOS Settings, Miscellaneous Settings for Asset Tag editing. Typing PASS:12/34, save and reboot in manufactoring mode cleared the setting that disabled the full SLIC 2.1 table. Using F2 = System Setup showed Service Tag and Asset Tag field on the title bar, but I could not find the way to edit the asset tag this way.
after you unhide SLIC how do you upgrade to a newer SLIC perferably 2.6? I know you can upgrade SLIC in HDR file but how do you flash with new SLIC's HDR file?
If anyone is interested, just posted the new SLIC 2.7 bin file here: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/oa-2-x-slic-oemcert-collection.5952/page-94#post-1849481
