Hi, I remember with the Dell XP Restore CD it would Install on any PC, but I was wondering, is that the same with the Dell Windows Vista Restore DVD and Dell Windows 7 Restore DVD, will they install on any PC?

    Thank You

Basically yes, but even the XP restore CD would not activate on a non DELL system and you had to find other ways to activate it. Same counts for Vista and/or Windows 7 restore discs.

With the Dell Windows XP CD, when you go to activate it, all the user needs to do is change the CD-Key in the activation process and it would activate (over telephone) if memory serves me right, would that be the same with the Dell Vista and Dell 7 DVDs?

The Daz Activator will also activate the Dell DVDs won't it?

Thats not right info... the dell xp cd is an oem:slp cd with dell slp key integrated in it. No need to enter any key for the user, but displays a nag "Activate now" if used in non-dell system. U need to supply proper oembios files by 911medic's tool to activate it or make a fresh one according to ur pc's present slp string.

Yap, Daz's activator can activate that!! ;)
