Dell Studio Add SLIC 2.1 To Bios?

    im really noob here. how to reflash your modded bios? step by step if you dont mind..

    I downloaded the original A07 bios from dell for the M1710, any way I can extract the files from the exe? It's not really opening easily :p

    I used -writeromfile and -writehdrfile and I got a rom file and hdr file now. Hope I can start with that

    load up the rom in Phoenix Bios Editor, then follow the guide

    it says no BCP's found! and doesn't do anything after that :(

    If you open up a command prompt and point it to the directory your bios exe is in type the bios filename with the following switch "-writeromfile". For example, for my bios it would be "1735_a05.exe -writeromfile" withouth the quotes.

    I am having another problem, opening my BIOS (1735_A05) with Pheonix BIOS editor yields the following error "No BCPs Found!".

    Any ideas?
