It's really not a scam, it's just an advert; they have (exactly the same ones, since both sites are owned by the same people) them on TPB as well lol.

All in, it's a great solution. I manged to download from the magnet link that got deleted overnight. (do you still need it seeded?) This morning I copied the iso to a usb stick using the Windows 7 USB DVD Download Tool and used it to install win8 onto the wife's laptop (using a free wmc key that I had already been sent from microsoft) No problems at all.........she now has a fully licensed win8 machine without going anywhere near a kms server. So... To understand what's going on... You install a clean copy of Win8 Pro, then this, and then you just activate Windows with your WMC key ( or even better, you paste your back up activation )?
No, you install just this. It has been constructed to accept the free WMC upgrade keys, and will activate with it.
What do you mean just this? If I install this, Windows will be activated? Isn't this just a trick to skip KMS activation ( given you have a valid Pro MWC key )? That's all I meant... Obviously we're saying the same, right? Unless I haven't understand correctly.
No this is to save the half or in some cases an hour wasted behind the whole procedure in installing pro... activating against kms... then upgrading (most time consuming)... and ofcourse to learn from it

@mdc: In meantime I had created an bootable USB-Stick from your ISO which were not working. That could be because of the Stick I used. I than burned a DVD which were starting to install until 31%! Those DVD was burned with default speed (12X) so I burned the next one with 4x speed and that worked. I used the already use Free WMC Key form the sama machine, different HDD, and it were just activating also without problem. Will try an other USB Stick tomorrow and see the problem were related to the stick or the USB in general. Thanks for that work, all working well.
