DEP is preventing me from accessing any folders in my c:\ drive ie. my computer, my documents, control panel... i have been on the phone to acer and microsoft about this to no avail. both have referred me to the command prompt coding which only gives me the "'bcdedit.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file" message. this is driving me crazy! can anyone help me with how i can go about fixing it? as far as i can see, my only other options are to take it into a repair shop or reboot windows to the factory settings and neither are options i really want to have to start considering seriously.
lol, i hate the DEP so much... hey ya, i dont think i can grant you to much avail with the DEP because i am having the same problem. so can someone please tell us how to deal with the waste of space program so we all can get to what needs to be done?
