Differences between these ISO images?

    Just install both of these copies:

    1. 7601.17514.101119-1850_x64fre_server_en-us_VL-GRMSXVOL_EN_DVD
    2. 7601.17514.101119-1850_x64fre_serverenterprise_en-us_VL-GRMEXVOL_EN_DVD

    and notice with ISO #1, I have the options to install all editions of Windows 2008 while ISO #2 only have the option to install the Enterprise version of Windows 2008.

    So, given that, why would anyone need ISO #2 when ISO #1 can install Enterprise version as well?

    No reason that I can think of. But somebody must have wanted a special "Enterprise only" ISO.
