Hi, I am in the process of completing my first computer build, and I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction... I have a Gigabyte GA-880GM-USB3L, but I have not gotten a chance to actually find out who provides the bios "due to the fact that I currently have no monitor to hook the tower up to." I've downloaded the bios and extracted the .f5a file from the .exe, but am unable to open the bios to patch another image in. Can someone suggest the proper tool in order to edit the bios image? thank you. Bios: fxp://download.gigabyte.ru/bios/mb_bios_ga-880gm-usb3l_v.3.x_f5a.exe
Hi, yes I was attempting to prepare a new bios splash screen to re-inject a new bios image into the win flash program. with all of the advancements it is still stuck at 640*480? shame but I suppose they could care less... might you suggest a link for this CBROM utility? also, is it a gui or command line? I can do either but I was just unsure.... thank you!
