DirectX9 for Windows 8.1 ??

    Hi,

    I've installed an older game which requires DirectX version 9. I've installed DirectX from the web installer provided by Microsoft but my game won't run.

    Anyone knows where can I find the standalone offline installer for DirectX9 compatible with Windows 8.1 ??

    If you still have the option in the Windows Features window, just enable it and everything should be automatically downloaded through WU. Other than that(Legacy Components completely missing from the WF window) I have no idea.

    just use the bundled dxsetup.exe file to install all the files from the cab files - that's it

    And enable net framework 3.5
