I have a windows 11 laptop with a touch screen laptop (The touch sensor doesn't work) and when I install windows 11 I can't disable the checkboxes. This doesn't affect performance, but it bugs the crap outta me. Is there a script or registry entry that I can change to permanently disable it?
just go to File Explorer Options in Control Panel. Click on View then tap on use check boxes to Select items make sure it's unticked. then click appy and Ok.
I've encontered the same issue. Since an ealier update The checkbox is only visible when you're using your device in "tablet mode. Turn it off and return to standard use
