Disable Defender in Creator's Update Build 15058 onwards?

    Can it be turned off there?

    Yeah Endbase and Nucleus Friends , both methods worked fine
    Thank you so much for your efforts

    Windows 10 version 1607 and previous versions have never brought windows defender icon on taskbar after disabling it via reg file. It happened the first time with the version 1703. So , can i hide that defender icon on taskbar with a reg-file while windows is being installed (Setupcomplete.cmd) ?

    Hi Nucleus ;
    You can not import the reg file if you do it as you said. (try and see please)
    You have to use curly quotes e.i.

    WD has a new startup entry "SecurityHealth" in "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run" .

    Plus Sense service has been renamed to SecurityHealthService. So still only 4 services have to be disabled.

    Does Ultimate Windows Tweaker 4.2.2 still shut down Defender ? I know it used to.
