I didn't mean the POV or the principal level i ment on technical level, the article don't provide useful or accurate info
Today i found this tool: w*w.phrozensoft.com/2015/09/windows-privacy-tweaker-4 I wonder why it say that these stuff are tracking too: Can anybody confirm this? SensrSvc & WerSvc service in windows, AnalyzeSystem (Microsoft\WindowsPower Efficiency Diagnostics) Task Scheduler, Defer Windows Upgrades & Network Location Awareness Active Probing & Microsoft Smartscreen Registry entry
These services exist since win7 rtm, now they suddenly sees them as tracking? regardless if that's true, there are plenty of un-needed schedule tasks and services but the main purpose of this tread is to handle the upgrade/telemetry addons that comes with updates
Hi abbodi1406, I wonder, can you prepare an addon or SFX for us with the W10-Block.cmd and the Schedule task to integrate it with WinToolkit. Would you consider this? Thank you.
Funny thing is, people are worried about privacy on Windows 10, but use Android and Apple phones. Anything that comes close to wanting to keep secret they do on their phones despite just as much if not more privacy stuff is disclosed through using those phone systems.
For the tracking stuff I use Better Privacy: github DOT com/hulr/BetterPrivacy Works well, I was using another one, but M$ changed the way these services interact with the OS as a whole. Attached is the configuration part I use for the computers at my work. For the windows 10 "upgrade nag" I have been using GWX control Panel... Easy to use and works: ultimateoutsider DOT com/downloads/
I added the 3173040 in W10-Hide script for my use After applying the script remains the update 3068708 in Win 8.1. Apply the script again does not work to hide 3068708, must hide manually. I believe that Microsoft has done something different in this update
Seems there is a new update "edition": KB 2952664 (win7), KB 2976978 (win 8.1) Sorry, I have to few posts to past the links here. On ghacks is an article from the 5. octobre.
