Disabling Telemetry -- What will Microsoft's response be?

    Just install Wireshark on that PC with Windows 10 Home....Youll see the same thing.

    What else? Black-clad Microsoft Agents will be dispatched to the homes of violators, their front doors smashed in, and whole families will be hog-tied and ruthlessly tortured until they agree (in writing) to relent and allow Windows 10 "telemetry."

    Are you serious, Microsoft using doors, they'll use windows.

    I could be wrong (and/or naive?), but it looks to me that those domains (except for the 2 activation domains, for obvious reasons) are too generalized for telemetry. I would think they are there to ensure they can be reached in the event that the hosts file is modified by malware. It would be especially important for the Windows Updates sites, as they would provide the removal tool they release each month.
