hi i cant watch you tube , open google , Facebook ... etc what your suggestion to best vpn to open these sites... i tried hotspot shield it dosent work ?
Would recommend to handle 'free' VPN with caution! You may pay with your data . Afaik Windscribe and ProtonVPN have free offers which are separated from Pro Accounts, offer no logging even in free versions but are limitted in locations, traffic and speed. Windscribe regularly has Promos to increase the free 10 GB/Month limit to 60 GB/Month.
And CyberGhost has an 'unlimited' free system, limited to max 3h per 'call', means reconnect after 3h again, and again, and again, ..........! Oh, and limited servers too, sorry! Just Speed, Download etc. are not limited.
When using free, you are the product (meaning someone else is paying for your data that they collect). If your only goal is to bypass geographical restrictions to free sites such as YouTube or Facebook, you likely don't have anything to worry about and I would 2nd @s1ave77 recommendation and suggest ProtonVPN or Windscribe. Those are likely your better options for 'free' VPN services. However, if privacy is indeed a necessity and you want to be absolutely sure not to have data collected, plus you want the added bonus to access Netflix or Amazon, I would suggest NordVPN or ExpressVPN (they're also good for torrents too). They're not free, but they are affordable and you get a lot more backing them in terms of choices and support. Finally, if your goal is a little darker and less innocent than I would suggest a mix of PRQ and Tor on both ends.
Hey all ... Curious what's your thoughts with a VPN software, which do you use,? Have you try the free versions and your thoughts on them. I was using IPVanish, but I find them to be a little pricey. Now I'm looking at either NordVPN or CyberGhost. What do you guys like? Thanks
I use Firefox browser and I was told if I use a VPN that I should have this extension which helps with the leak issues Disable WebRTC
PIA has had some critisism here but it has served me well for quite a while, also very Linux friendly.
It's better to use low-cost vpn then free vpn, Try Purevpn it works great with Spotify because and also it has a great range of servers like USA and Swiss vpn server from which you can easily access Spotify like radio and streaming all around the globe.
I've used PIA (Private Internet Access)... it is worth the $$... they keep their promises. But, I was able to get lifetime versions of WindScribe, Ivacy, and VPNSecure, as well... WINDSCRIBE: Very nice, but had to configure from IKEv2 to UDP because it kept "dropping". Love the "extra firewall" feature, so that no connections are allowed during boot-up until connected. IVACY: The PPTP connections seems to do torrents the best, the OpenVPN connection is great when the selected servers city is working; they keep changing cities. VPNSECURE: Always works, torrenting as well.
