Browser extensions can make a surprisingly big difference to the everyday browsing experience. I tend to keep extensions to a minimum and only install ones that solve a specific problem, such as privacy, ad blocking, password management, or improving media playback. For people who spend a lot of time browsing movie and video sites, a good ad blocker and privacy extension can also make the experience much cleaner. The important thing is to avoid installing too many extensions, because they can sometimes slow the browser down or conflict with each other. I usually prefer a small set of reliable extensions rather than having one for every little task.
