Fx 116 still ran on Windows 7, despite being unsupported. 117 and up are hard-blocked. LibreWolf never did ESR releases, so, 116.0.3 is where it got stuck, as 117 doesn't work anymore.
Hi, I know this may have been answered already but I was wondering if there is a way to update Opera Version:95.0.4635.90 so that it will run under Windows 7. There are some web pages that lately have been problematic and thought it was due to the outdated Opera I am using. Thanks
Hi 1. Install LibreWolf 2. Overwrite the files lgpllibs.dll, mozglue.dll, xul.dll 3. Modify Major/Minor Operating System Version and Major/Minor Subsystem Version. My choice is Major 0006, Minor 0001 which means Windows 7. 4. Run LibreWolf I can’t post content containing links: source: github.com/adeii/supermium-portable/releases/tag/v121 LibreWolf: i.postimg.cc/RFyrRX7P/Libre-Wolf.jpg
Why this guy spend his time patching the vivaldi knock off when he could dedicate his efforts in the real and safe thing is beyond me....
De-Googlify the browser and Google captcha becomes brutal..... Vivaldi, Firefox. Haven't tested Edge.
Not in my experience, but that can be variable depending variuos zoneis in the world here (in the UE) Google is finally on the radar of the authorities, so may behave better than in the US or ASIA. That said just use a decent browser, and a disposable Chromium if you need to deal with online Google crap. Also, you can use a custom user agent to mask Vivaldi or Palemoon or whatever as chrome, a trick that was valid in the days of the real Opera (V.S. the useless IE6) and is (mostly) valid today. The latest Opera version had even the feature integrated out of the box.

Sides, on Windows 8.1 you can easily run LibreWolf and the latest Firefox (121) with just one simple edit in CFF Explorer. It is not hard-blocked. Nor is Opera
